Annual Passholder Screening of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad Screening for Annual Passholders

Disneyland Annual Passholders (DAPs) are being given another Limited Time Annual Passholder Event as part of Limited Time Magic. This time, the Opera House is being opened up on October 3 for DAPs to watch The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. This is quite appropriate as The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is included in this two part collection of stories. There are very few stories that fit Halloween better than The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The Wind in the Willows is the other half of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. For those who haven’t seen it, this is where the backstory for Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride is from.

If going for the entire Halloween Time theme and want to create a whole night of it, here is what to do. First go to the Opera House and get a wrist band to attend the screening. Then go back to the Big Thunder Ranch before the movie and get some pictures of the jack-o-lanterns and perhaps conjure up a villain. The jack-o-lantern does play a part in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow after all. On the way to or from Big Thunder Ranch, hop aboard Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. Get dinner at Harbor Galley and eat on the deck there to complete the experience (Harbor Galley because the architecture reminds me of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow). You could make a date out of it with all of this, just add a caramel apple and you are good to go! Or just use it for a fun themed night at Disneyland.

If you want to attend this Limited Time Annual Passholder Event, there are a few things you’ll need to know. The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad will be shown twice on the evening of October 3. The show times are:

  • Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 6:00 PM
  • Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 8:00 PM

To get into the movie DAPs will need a wrist band. To obtain this wristband visit the Opera House anytime after 12:00 on October 3 with a valid Annual Passport. Each DAPs will need to be present to receive their wrist band so don’t have just one person bring a bunch of passes hoping to get everyone in. Recognize that the Opera House isn’t the largest venue in the world so there are no guarantees that everyone will be able to get in. Disneyland will do its best to accommodate everyone who wants to participate in this event but there are only so many seats. This being said, it is a good idea for each party to show up together and get wrist bands together so they can all stay… together.
