As the cast of the upcoming live action Disney film of “The Jungle Book” comes to near completion, the role of Baloo will be played by Bill Murray. Part live action and part animation, computer generated images will portray the characters on screen while only one physical human, Mowgli, will be present in non-animated form.
This news comes as a huge cast announcement was made this week which includes many star studded names. Walt Disney Studios announcing King Louie will be played by Christopher Walken, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Idris Elba as Shere Kahn, Lupita Nyong’o as Rashka and Gincarlo Esposito as Akela.
We can expect more information about this upcoming film as it is set to be released on October 9, 2015.
