Gluten Free Vegetarian Pasta at Disneyland’s Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port

Gluten free and vegetarian dining at the Disneyland Resort? Yes, it is possible. Today I would like to share with you a meal option that I never knew existed till I asked.

Asking questions to cast members at your dining location is the best way to find out if a location will fit your specific dietary need. Though I do not have a food allergy to gluten, it is always nice to explore different food options.

Located in Tomorrowland of Disneyland Park is that of Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port. This location offers a variety of pizza, pasta and salads. It is also home to gluten free pasta and gluten free pizza! If you would like to order, this is what I did.

Near the bread sticks, (between the pasta and pizza counter) I got the attention of a cast member. Here he then brought out a chef, I placed my order and it was sent back to the kitchen. I was then given a piece of paper as my ticket order and a time in which I should return to pick up my meal. The food was ready in about 15 minutes. The cast member called my name and said that my order had landed. Such great theming. From there I proceed to check out, paid and enjoyed my meal.

The specific meal that I ordered was the gluten free Terra Nova Tomato Basil, no meatballs. It was actually really good and tasted very similar to that of the regular gluten option. The noodles that were placed on my plate were a bit soggy but it was still good. The sauce was also very enjoyable.

Overall the meal was worth the wait. Though it did take longer than the rest of my party, it was still nice to know that these types of options are available. The meal was the same price as its gluten counterpart on the menu. I think next time I will try their gluten free pizza.
