2015 D23 Expo to Celebrate Mickey Mouse Club (60th) & A Goofy Movie (20th) Anniversaries

The D23 Expo will be celebrating a lot of things going on in the world of the Walt Disney Company. While obviously the 60th anniversary of the Disneyland Resort won’t be forgotten, it would be easier to overlook some other anniversaries. This won’t be happening though. Today, it was announced that the 60th anniversary of The Mickey Mouse Club and the 20th anniversary of A Goofy Movie will be celebrated at this ultimate Disney gathering.

The first will be celebrated with a reunion of some of the original Mouseketeers that will include Sherry Alberoni, Sharon Baird, Bobby Burgess, Tommy Cole, Darlene Gillespie, Cubby O’Brien, and Doreen Tracey. They will be joined by actors Tim Considine (Spin Evans) and David Stollery (Marty Markham) for this special panel.

Don Hahn will be leading a panel on the 20th anniversary of A Goofy Movie. He will be joined by Bill Farmer (Goofy), Jason Marsden (Max), Jim Cummings (Pete), Rob Paulsen (P.J.), and writer Jymn Magon. This will give fans of this movie a unique glimpse at this now two-decade old flick.

Other panel opportunities being announced for the 2015 D23 Expo are listed below in the press release. Which one are you most excited about?
