Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill of Disney California Adventure Park Offers Hearty Vegetarian Burrito

Disney California Adventure Park of the Disneyland Resort has a wide array of food types, which is pretty awesome. If you have ever ventured through the Pacific Wharf dining area during dinner hours, you’ll know that this area is the spot for great food. Whether you are looking for a nice bread bowl with soup, a tofu dish or a hearty burrito, this area has it all.

One place in particle that I would like to discuss is Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill. This quick service dining location sits right above the water at the Pacific Wharf and is close to the side entrance of Cars Land. In addition, the area offers plenty of outdoor seating.

Vegetarian wise, this is the spot. With a variety of meals such as the Soft Tacos Monterrey, Fajita Salad and even the Burrito Sonora, the options feel endless.

But wait, some of you might be thinking, what about the beans and rice? Those can’t possibly be vegetarian friendly? Well let me tell you, after speaking with a cast member at this location, he did clarify that both the beans and rice are vegetarian friendly but are not vegan. So time to grab a plate of beans and rice because this place is delicious.

This week I would like to share a recent dining experience of this location. I was a bit nervous on account of the beans and rice note, but once that was clarified, it was all good. In doing so, I placed an order for the Burrito Sonora with roasted vegetables. Quick side note, this burrito has the selection of either coming with beef, chicken or roasted vegetables.

The burrito in general seemed massive and my gosh, I could not even finish it! Inside, the burrito contained refried beans, cheese, and a variety of roasted vegetables. Placed on top of the burrito was a traditional Guajillo Sauce. As for sides, the plate came with beans, rice, sour cream, guacamole and Pico de Gallo.

The Burrito Sonora is available at the Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill for both lunch and dinner. As for the price of the burrito, the meal is $11.49. In addition, this location does offer Disneyland Annual Pass discounts. Great meal for a great price, totally worth it, especially after a long day in the parks.

Also, if you do happen to dine at this location and feel like enjoying World of Color – Celebrate! without the hassle of a crowd, this area is prefect. If seats are available in the Pacific Wharf dining area, bring your tray on over near the railing by the water and face Mickey’s Fun Wheel; quick and easy dinner with a show. You might be a bit far from all the action but the sound can be heard loud and clear.

Be sure to stay tuned to DAPs Magic as I venture through the Disneyland Resort tasting other delicious vegetarian options. You never know what may appear on my plate next.

Hope you enjoyed this meal recap. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
