Authors of ‘Disneyland on the Mountain: Walt, the Environmentalists, and the Ski Resort That Never Was’ to Speak at Anaheim Central Library

On Sunday, April 14, 2024, at the Anaheim Central Library, there will be a very special book event about Walt Disney’s last project. This is a project that was unfinished sadly but elements from it continue to live on in one form or another. The book, Disneyland on the Mountain: Walt, the Environmentalists, and the Ski Resort That Never Was, was written by Greg Glasgow and Kathryn Mayer. It is about the dreams Walt had for Mineral King and includes its origins and then eventual demise.

Both Glasgow and Mayer will be at the Central Library on Sunday to talk about this book from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Tickets are not required for this event and the public is welcome to attend. Details can be found here:
