What is your favorite Disney Character?
Of course, I love Tinkerbell! Just because I see a little bit of me in her! I also love Oswald- and am so happy that his rights are owned by the Disney company again, since he was stolen from Walt before he learned the ins and outs of the business. And, of course, how can you not love Mickey? Especially "classic" Mickey- he can always put a smile on my face.
What is your favorite Attraction? What a hard question... I am going to have to go with Splash Mountain.
What is your favorite Show? Before I had my son I would have told you Fantasmic. Now that I have a little one of my own, WISHES would have to be my choice. Sitting there in front of Cinderella's castle, holding you child in your lap, and watching that show is something you can not describe in words.
What's your favorite Disney Resort memory? Wow, there are so many of those! I think I am going to have to pick the look on my son's face the last time we were at WDW when he saw the castle.. it was like.. FINALLY. It was his first trip where he was old enough to appreciate what we were doing!
What do you do for a living?
I am a stay at home mom, but also work from home part time doing two very fun things. First, I make custom Mickey Mouse tie dye shirts for people and their families to wear on vacation. Second, I am a Certified Disney Travel Agent :) Hows that for fun work?
What's your favorite Disney Movie? I can watch Fantasia a million times!
What's your favorite Disney quote? "Why do we have to grow up? I know more adults who have the children's approach to life. They're people who don't give a hang what the Joneses do. You see them at Disneyland every time you go there. They are not afraid to be delighted with simple pleasures, and they have a degree of contentment with what life has brought - sometimes it isn't much, either." Walt Disney
Any pets?Well, I have a very mean female beta fish that likes to eat every male I put with her.. gives a new meaning to "Man Eater!"
Statement on why you love Disney: I honestly think I could write a book on this subject, and it is the question I get from people most. First- the idea that one man had a dream, and created an empire for us to enjoy is amazing to me. Walt Disney (the man) always saw the bigger picture in life, and wanted to create a place where everyone- regardless of where they are from- can be happy, and spend time with thier friends and family. I love that. I love the magic behind Disney- the idea of always paying it forward, and doing little things to make someones day special. And, this is a theme we can all carry from the parks to our lives at home. I love that every little detail has been thought out.. and of course best of all, Walt Disney World feels like home :)
New Question....
What is the funniest thing you ever did or saw at WDW or DL?
My answer
I convinced Zac that Space Mountain was an educational ride on his first WDW trip. He got on and everything, and after the first drop he was silent. Then we got off, and he was silent. He was so mad I had to buy him a Mickey Mouse ice cream to make him talk again!
2nd answer
Father to son "Look, it's PLUTO" pointing to Goofy. |
