Comments: As a regular Disneygoer I would hate to have the disney gallery removed. It has been there my entire life and I would like things to stay that way. I often visit the Disney Gallery and often buy things from it's store. I think it would be an all around bad deal for Disney income. The shop in the gallery gains Disney a lot of money and I think the corporation would suffer from the loss of it.

Comments: Wow. The disney Gallery. Where too begin. I remember as a little kid going in there when Pirates 1 first came open and seeing all the movie memoribilia. (of course that was before I realized how milked that cow was gonna get!) The disney gallery was what first introduced me to Attraction Posters, and now my goal is to have one from every attraction!
My purpose in writing this, is to say that everyone has a memory to connect with this attraction, and no one wants it to be another memory only remembered by the likes of Yesterland.com. I want this gallery to stay to be enjoyed by others, whether its family, freinds, my kids, their kids, and just random people i don't even know!

Comments: PLEASE KEEP THE GALLERY AS IT IS! FIND SOME PLACE ELSE (MAYBE NEW) to make as a suite! We know more of such very special in-park suites will be wanted by the elite set of people who can afford it (I will start saving now, but I need me a Disney man to stay with - hint hint to everyone reading this). They can build a small castle-like dwelling, or even a pirate cave, with several different suites and all new building so it is run efficiently, maybe even secretly hidden to most, like Club 33, and not a retrofitted conversion as they may need to do somewhat with the current gallery (just the need to make it fully handicap accessible could really change the structure).
I always go to the Disney Gallery every time I am at the park. It is a special place where I always feel the lingering of Walt's spirit as it was when her was still there. Don't take that away from me (and the general public)! It is a very nice traditional area to showcase and HONOR DISNEY ARTIST TALENT which is such a deep root of the today's Disney Empire. If it is for the "Year of a Million Dreams" then it is a complete mistake to close it just for a thing like that!

Comments: I'm an annual passholder, and I visit the Gallery during most every trip. It's the best place to find art prints and new high-end merch. The Gallery is also a great showcase for exhibits as well as events.

I've gone there since it opened in the later 80's and every single visit I make with my family or by myself, we make it a point to venture up those stairs and see what magical renderings are in store for us. It's become a tradition now and when Fantasmic was going, we'd have our reserved seats there on the terrace just outside the gallery. Comments: Do NOT take out this classic piece of Disney history!!! The cast members who work there are dedicaded to providing guests with an experience beyond that of the traditional "pay-for-excitement" which you can find at any old heartless amusement park. They happily share their knowlege of Disney history and interesting factoids with anybody willing to get more out of the Disneyland experience.
As I said before, the gallery is a part of Disneyland history. It was sadly never used for it's origonal purpose but I can think of no better use for it than a gallery to showcase different aspects of this unique park. I am against the raw comercialization of Disneyland, which would DESTROY every part of what makes it so special. Walt would want the gallery to remain open to the public so everybody can continue to experience the park on a deeper level. Ever since he introduced us to "The Wonderful World of Disney", Walt showed that he didn't want people to just go to the park, but experience it. Comments: The gallery is such a great place to visit in the park. I go every visit. It's wonderful to have so many people exposed to the great artwork. Not to mention the movie props that on display from time to time. It has inspired me many times.
And I don't know about other people, but I have done a good amount of shoping in the gallery, so I'm sure it brings in good money.
and lastly, The view from the balcony is nice and the courtyard up there is a Great place to escape. You almost feel like your no longer in a theme park.
