New 007 SKYFALL Poster

There is a new James Bond SKYFALL poster. It doesn’t say much about the upcoming 007 flick SKYFALL but it definitely captures the feel of James Bond. I am personally really looking forward to seeing how this movie turns out. I feel like this will be an important movie for Daniel Craig’s James Bond career. In Casino Royale, I really enjoyed how they recreated the role of James Bond and how he grew into the character we know and love as the movie progressed. Apparently other people did too as [Read More]

Watcher Wednesday: Amazing Spider-Man Anticipation

It’s been almost two weeks since Avengers premiered to America’s audiences.  So far it has easily become one of the top box office hits of all time.  What’s next for the house of ideas, AKA Marvel?
Well, it’s not too long before a certain web movie will premier.  Yep.  I’m talking about The Amazing Spider-Man!
I’ve got to admit that I’ve held onto some skepticism ever since it was first announced that there would be a fourth Spider-Man movie.  I did like the 3 Spider-Man’s, but the third did have a sour [Read More]

Isn’t it gorgeous?

Song Saturday: Disney Style (To Be Free)

For many people who grew up in the 90s, Aladdin was their favorite Disney movie. It was the first of the Disney Renaissance that featured a male protagonist and became more than just the typical fairy tale romance. A lot of this had to do with the Genie and his fourth wall jokes. The movie had some of the most memorable songs ever to grace the silver screen, and not a single soul in the world can’t hum a bar of A Whole New World or Prince Ali.
But there is [Read More]

A Walk Through Cars Land

Yesterday, I had the honor of being included with a select group of media outlets who were privileged to get a sneak peak at Cars Land. As just about any fan of Disney knows, Cars Land will be opening at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort on June 15, 2012. The day actually started for me with a special event at Disneyland for the dedication of the Alice Davis window on Main Street, USA. I then had a couple of hours to get some things done and drink some coffee.

Universal Studios Hollywood – Tranformers The Ride Preview

For the past year, I have had an annual pass to Universal Studios Hollywood.  Yes, it is a strange thing to have for an avid Disney fan, but for a staycation, it fulfilled its purpose.  For this particular time it was both my last time with the annual pass, and the preview for the Transformers: The Ride, which was only open to annual passholders until the 25 of the month.
