It’s the Muppet Show! A Muppetational Birthday Cake!

Last Sunday was my birthday. For those of you who may not be aware, it was the big 3-0. A few people who are really awesome decided that this was something that should be celebrated and so on the Sunday before my birthday, they threw me an incredible surprise party at the Paradise Pier hotel that spilled into Disneyland and of course… the Sweeper Train. The night was full of smiles, adventures, laughs, antics, and great friends/family. It also had an INCREDIBLE cake!

The amazingly talented @iampumpkinqueen and her daughter Z created this work of art. It is a recreation of the Muppet Show theater…BUT WITH CAKE! The level of detail found on this cake is ABSOLUTELY amazing. They nailed these characters. From Kermit, Fozzy, Gonzo, and Miss Piggy down to the little penguin next to the piano, these ARE the Muppets on my cake. I have never seen a better cake and wow!  I really don’t know what I could say about it all other than I was completely blown away and you’ve got to see it! Fortunately, there are pictures! So… I hope you enjoy them!

A BIG thank you goes out to everyone who made this possible and especially to the people who made this cake. They are GREAT friends and really… those are the things that make everything worthwhile in life, don’t you think? And yes, that really is a cake!
