2011 Disneyland Resort All-American College Band Starts Strong

disneyland_all_american_college_band_first_day_june_16_201100511Last Thursday I stopped by Disneyland to check out the 2011 Disneyland Resort All-American College Band. Armed with my camera, I made my way into the Disneyland Resort to enjoy an afternoon/early evening of upbeat music provided by one of my favorite groups every year. I was really pleased to discover that this year’s band does not disappoint! They had energy. They had a good sense of humor. They had wonderful musicianship.

The day began at 2:15 in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. It continued to Carnation Plaza Gardens at 3:15. This was followed by the Flag Retreat at 5:10 and then the pre-parade entertainment for Mickey’s Soundsational Parade at 6:00. Their last set of the day was in front of Main Street Station in Town Square at 7:15. This is always my favorite set as they play Bubbles Was a Cheerleader.

The day was a perfect start off for the summer season and the college band. It wasn’t too hot or too cold. I had good company with me. Most importantly, I got to hear my favorite song. I’m looking forward to hearing it many more times throughout this summer!

Make it a GREAT day!
