Cast Members work so very hard to make so many people’s visit to their favorite Disney Theme Park magical. The pay isn’t that great, they don’t get a lot of thanks, but they keep smiling and making magic day in and day out. Some of the jobs are more glamorous than others but they all need to be done and they are all important.
For this month, we have chosen TWO cast members who contribute to the magic on at least a weekly basis. For every Sunday night as we ride the sweeper train around the Disneyland Resort, there are two custodial cast members always standing on the exit bridge of It’s a Small World. They always have smiles on their faces and wave as we cross (and sing) It’s a Small World shortly after midnight.
The custodians of Disneyland are heroes in their own right. They keep the parks clean, sanitary, and safe. They clean up stuff that I don’t even like to think about. Every mess that we as guests make, they clean up. A hearty hat tip should be made to each and every one of them. And for this month, we honor those two that stand on the bridge at It’s a Small World and wave to us each week. Thanks for making a memory for us each week and for giving us a friendly smile to look forward to! For these reasons, you are our Cast Members of the Month!
Make it a GREAT day!
