DC’s Epic Adventure: Tucson Comicon Recap
Hey everyone! Welcome to this week’s DC’s Epic Adventure! This past weekend, Chief Engineer Smith and I headed to Tucson for Tucson Comicon. Tucson Comicon is a newer event; this year marked the 4th year of the event.
While Tucson Comicon was not as large as the con in Phoenix, there was still quite a bit to enjoy. We didn’t attend any of the panels; however we did hear a lot of people enjoying them. We saw quite a few of the artists who frequent Gotham City Comics and Coffee, including Anabel Martinez, Allen Amiz, Jeff Pina, Ben Glendenning, and Shelby Robertson. We also chatted with former DC writer and editor Brian Augustyn. One of the highlights was meeting artist, Jon Morris who was sketching various pies (ie: Tron Pie).
I see great things in the future for Tucson Comicon and can’t wait to see what they have in store for next year. Below are some of the great pictures that Chief Engineer Smith took (he takes awesome photos!). Enjoy!
