A Different Sleeping Beauty Castle Walk Through
Sleeping Beauty Castle has an awesome walk through. Unsurprisingly, it does tell the story of Sleeping Beauty. If you were in California, this story would be told through galleries that house animatronics, paintings, controlled shadows, and projections… to name a few of the storytelling devices. That’s not what I want to share today though. I want to take a trip across the Atlantic Ocean to France where there is another Sleeping Beauty Castle. This one is a little bit taller, a little bit larger, and a little bit newer.
Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris rises out of a beautiful hill. It is absolutely stunning from the outside and hours could be spent taking pictures from all the different angles. Inside is equally interesting. Below the castle resides a dragon which Karen in Wonderland shared about before. A little higher up though, guests can walk through the story of Sleeping Beauty in a different way than in Anaheim. In this walk through, the story is told mainly with stained glass and tapestries.

Disneyland Paris is one of my absolute favorite places to visit (right after Paris proper I think!). It is a gorgeous park to visit and if you go, make sure and climb your way up (and down) the stairs to see this amazing walk through!
