Voices of Liberty Coming to Disneyland’s Opera House

DAPs Magic Disney News – by Mr. DAPs

Voices of Liberty

The Voices of Liberty is an eight part vocal ensemble that most commonly is heard in the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot at Walt Disney World. They have been delighting guests with their beautiful harmonies at this location on the East coast for nearly thirty years. Now, they will also be entertaining guests at a Disney park on the West coast.

Yesterday it was announced that a new Voices of Liberty ensemble will be soon singing at the Disneyland Resort. Their music which covers Americana, Patriotic, and Folk music, will be added to the Opera House where already all three of those things are embodied in the telling of Abraham Lincoln’s story.

In the course of their history, Voices of Liberty have sung for five United States Presidents, have gone on tours around the country, been featured on Television shows, and have performed at parades and conventions. It is unknown where exactly in the Opera House they will be singing or how it will affect the current operational schedule at the Opera House.

Last fall, this video was shot of the Voices of Liberty at the American Adventure Pavilion in Epcot by the DAPs Magic crew:
