Glendale, CA., May 4, 2012 — Disney Consumer Products (DCP) has unveiled new toys inspired by the most anticipated movie releases of the summer: “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Disney·Pixar’s “Brave” and Sony Pictures’ “The Amazing Spider-Man.” This exciting product assortment features dolls, action figures, costumes and role play toys inspired by favorite Marvel Super Heroes and Disney·Pixar’s newest heroine, the bold and adventurous Merida.

Opening in theaters May 4, Marvel Studios presents “Marvel’s The Avengers”—the Super Hero team-up of a lifetime featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. On July 4, Sony Pictures’ “The Amazing Spider-Man,” based on the Marvel comic book, opens in theaters nationwide.

Disney Store: Straight out of “Marvel’s The Avengers” are the Captain America and Hulk Costume sets for boys (SRP $49.50). Disney Store’s detailed Captain America costume features a glow-in-the-dark star and includes his famous mask as well as boot covers, gauntlets and a detachable belt. Hulk’s detailed costume features a suit with Hulk’s signature muscles and comes with a green Hulk mask and boot covers. This fall, Iron Man and Thor costume sets will be available at Disney Store locations nationwide.

Hasbro: “The Amazing Spider-Man” Electronic Figure (SRP $19.99) is a 10-inch figure featuring a light-up chest insignia and web launcher that enables our hero to fire threedifferent web projectiles. This interactive action figure also speaks iconic phrases from the film. “The Amazing Spider-Man” wall-crawling action figure is anticipated to be one of the hottest toys of the summer (SRP $34.99).
