Walt Disney Animation Studios Concept Art for "Zootopia" Released

New concept artwork has been released for the upcoming Disney film, “Zootopia.” Scheduled for a release date on March 4, 2016, audiences can look forward to a great film from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Announced during the last D23 Expo, this film would encompass comedy and adventure. Expo goers were also shown several characters including a fox and a rabbit. The fox was characterized as being “a fast-talking fox who’s trying to make it big goes on the run when he’s framed for a crime he didn’t commit.” As for the rabbit, “a self-righteous rabbit, is hot on his (the fox) tail, but when both become targets of a conspiracy, they’re forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends.”

The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde, to solve the mystery.

This film is being directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore.
