Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters Opens at Disney California Adventure

Today Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters officially opened in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure. The attraction gives guests the chance to dance with Luigi’s cousins who have come to Radiator Springs from Carsoli, Italy. This attraction is located at what was formerly Luigi’s Flying Tires, which closed in 2015. The new attraction is presented by Alamo.

Christy Forsling had this to say about the opening day of this attraction:

I was pleasantly surprised by Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters. I honestly went into the attraction with fairly low expectations as I was skeptical of the concept. However, it proved to be an entertaining experience which I would definitely repeat. The attraction was closed most of the morning due to a thunderstorm. While closed, cast members were running squeegee looking brooms over the floor, spreading out the water and removing any debris. A cast member mentioned that they were unable to operate the ride while there was any water on the cars or floor. In the early afternoon, I saw a line forming outside of the closed ride and decided to hop in. I only had to wait about 15 minutes in this line before the ride reopened. After a rapid walk through the cue, I boarded the attraction with the third group of guests to ride. We spun, slid, and dashed in all directions across the floor. Everyone seemed to be having a genuinely great time, myself included. I was especially impressed that there were no tracks on the floor which we were following. Their absence provided an element of surprise which added to my enjoyment. I would recommend Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters to young and old alike as it provides fun for all ages. Be sure and check it out next time you are in Disney’s California Adventure!
