Springtime, Food and Wine, and Fireworks – Sundays With DAPs Disneyland Update

Both Spring and Food and Wine have sprung at the Disneyland Resort.  So, this Sunday we did a tour of both.  Of course we had to start with the Food and Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure.  Besides food, there is a great assortment of entertainment offerings, including Jammin’ Chefs.  This show has Chip and Dale joining an assortment of dancing and rhythmic chefs in song.

Besides Jammin’ Chefs, there are a number of culinary demonstrations at the Hollywood Land stage.

After Food and Wine, we ventured around the parks for an assortment of colorful Spring photos.

There is also the ongoing construction of Star Wars Land and even some additional features on Tom Sawyer Island.

When night hit, there were some opportunities to take some wide angle photos of various places of the parks.  Disney California Adventure lended itself to some fun pictorials with its colorful lights and great backdrops.  Carthay Circle, Grizzly Peak Recreation Area and Pacific Wharf were some chosen venues.

With Remember…Dreams Come True, we decided to go to an area that is rarely observed for the fireworks show.  In Frontierland, the Mark Twain and Big Thunder Mountain landscape provided a nice skyline for the night show.

Disneyland is very beautiful with the blooming flowers and Food and Wine happening.  Though construction still goes on, it’s still a pleasant time to check the parks out.
