Sunday Spotlight: Disney’s Main Street Electrical Parade

The Main Street Electrical Parade first debuted at Disneyland in 1972. Now, 45 years later, this beloved parade will disappear into the night tonight for the last time. The parade was originally scheduled to end its limited time run in June but this was extended until August 20th. With over a half million lights, dozens of dancers and characters, and 22 floats; the Main Street Electric Parade has made magical memories for millions through the years.

There are seven Disney films represented in the Main Street Electrical Parade. 27 Disney characters bring added Disney magic to the parade. Can you name them all?

The future of the the Main Street Electrical Parade is unknown. There are no announced plans for any future for it so this could be the end of this magical parade. However, this is also a parade that has said goodbye before and come back.
