Welcome to another week’s edition of DISNEY Reporter. This week there is a lot of ground to cover in the Disney and Geek worlds. A lot of it focuses on celebrations in the parks! The Lunar New Year Festival kicked off this week in Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort. This year is bigger and better than ever before. Over in Japan, Tokyo Disney Resort became a winter wonderland worth celebrating. They will also be celebrating their 35th anniversary this year. Both stories are covered. At the original Magic Kingdom, Toontown celebrated its 25th anniversary this week at the Disneyland Resort. Disneyland also has a bunch of new hats to check out for those who love the Mad Hatter. This week it was also announced that Disney Cast Members are getting a bonus and Minnie Mouse finally got her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It was a very busy week for DISNEY Reporter.
