Cherishing CHOC and Star Wars – DISNEY Reporter

Welcome to another edition of the DISNEY Reporter. Here at the DISNEY Reporter, we report on the highlights of this week’s Disney and geek news. This week there is a lot going on from Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and beyond! At Disneyland, another Star Wars Nite was celebrated this week. Also, Rey and Captain Phasma have stayed past the celebrations and now can be seen in Tomorrowland on a daily basis. DAPS MAGIC has videos and photos of both of these experiences. In the world of movies, this week saw the world premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story. From this came news about both the live-action Star Wars tv show and also the animated one.  Over at Walt Disney World Resort, work continues on Epcot’s Guardians of the Galaxy attraction and DAPS MAGIC has the most recent updates. Also, there are updates on the space-themed restaurant that is coming to Epcot, including a confirmation on where it will be located. This week also saw the kickoff of the 2018 CHOC Walk season with a reception at the Disneyland Hotel for some influencers and dignitaries to hear about what is coming for this year’s CHOC Walk in the Park at the Disneyland Resort. The night included food, friendship, stories about the impact of CHOC Walk and Minnie Mouse! Finally, at the time of editing of this week’s DISNEY Reporter, the story broke that Maleficent Dragon in the Festival of Fantasy Parade at the Magic Kingdom caught on fire.
