Sunday Spotlight: Pixarmonic Orchestra

This summer has brought many fun new things to the Disneyland Resort as a part of Pixar Fest. While it may be easy to focus on some of the big offerings i.e. Pixar Pier, Paint the Night Parade, Pixar Play Parade, Together Forever Fireworks, there are also some other fun things to check out. One of the favorites of the DAPS MAGIC team this year is the Pixarmonic Orchestra. Originally found at Paradise Gardens, the Pixarmonic Orchestra now performs at Pixar Pier near The Pixar Pal-A-Round. This small ensemble plays many classic Pixar songs from various Pixar films. They do this in a quirky way that is full of personality. The Pixarmonic Orchestra is comprised of a guitarist, bass player, drummer, percussionist, saxophone/clarinetist, trumpet player, and trombone player. Most of the ensemble also sings at some point during their set. DAPS MAGIC has filmed this group multiple times throughout the summer. Here are some of the performances at their current, and former, locations.
