A Sneak Peek at the Adventurous and Exotic Eats at The Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland

It’s hard not to sing “The Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room” whenever you hear about The Tropical Hideaway. But  soon, you will be able to dine in this immersive tropical hideaway that the tiki room birds serenade us about. The Disney Parks Blog announced a few of the menu items we will see when this new eatery opens later this year. I, for one, am excited to see some new and exotic flavors at the resort. I also like that these are snack options that could easily make up a quick meal.

There will be three different types of bao buns – Spiced Vegetable, Kaffir Lime Chicken, and Bulgogi Beef. If you’ve never had bao bun, it’s a sweet bread, filled with something savory. On the sweet side, you’ll be able to try the Sweet Pineapple Lumpia. It sounds similar to the one that was offered in Pandora in Animal Kingdom. It’s a pineapple and sweet cream cheese filled spring roll, which sounds delicious! This is only a sampling of menu items, we can expect more tropical inspired snacks from around the globe.

One of the best parts about The Tropical Hideaway, is the fact that there will be seating, considering it looks like a counter service location. The other extra special part is that tiki torches will line the dining area, providing an enhanced ambiance to the magic of Adventureland at night.

While Disney hasn’t announced an exact opening date, we cannot wait for when it does open later this year!

What are you most looking forward to about The Tropical Hideaway?

Until next time,
