A new series is coming to the Star Wars galaxy that is aimed at younglings. Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures will introduce “classic themes, pivotal moments, and iconic characters” to a whole new generation of future Star Wars fans!
The new series will debut on November 30th on StarWarsKids.com and the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel. The first six shorts will combine original dialogue, sound effects, music, and new animation will combine with fun and educational add-ons to help older Star Wars fans mentor new Star Wars fans. New shorts featuring favorite characters will be arriving in December with even more shorts coming in 2019.
“With Galaxy of Adventures, we wanted to craft something that allowed parents to help their kids take their first step into a much larger world whether they were ready to show their kids the films or wanted to find new ways to explore the content,” James Waugh, Lucasfilm’s vice president for franchise content and strategy, tells StarWars.com.
The new series is just one piece of a multi-pronged initiative leading up to the the release of Star Wars: Episode IX in December.
