‘The Mandalorian’ Gains Another Cast Member in the ‘Star Wars’ Universe with Nick Nolte

The Disney+ streaming service just keeps getting better! You may remember The Mandalorian is in the works as an exclusive series for the unreleased streaming service. This week, we learned Nick Nolte has joined to cast to help make the newest Star Wars addition a reality!

Nolte joins Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano, who were announced to be working on the project earlier this year. Writer Jon Favreau is executive producing along with Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Dave Filoni. Filoni will also direct episodes, as will Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa and Deborah Chow.

While we still don’t know all the details of the new series, Disney has this to say:

“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”

While we can’t wait for The Mandalorian, we’re possibly even more excited for Disney+! The streaming service will feature many Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars movies and even some exclusive content! With the announcements we’ve seen already, The Mandalorian will be just part of an amazing push of original content from Disney!
