Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Reaches Capacity Within a Half Hour of Disneyland Opening

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was the center of the galaxy this morning as fans streamed into the now open-without-reservations land at Disneyland. 20 minutes after the park opened, guests were required to start utilizing the virtual queuing system through the Disneyland App or select Fastpass locations throughout Disneyland.

With the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to the public without reservations, the line for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run quickly soared to three hours early in the morning. Other areas of the land weren’t as packed though. Both Oga’s Cantina and Saavi’s Workshop sold out of reservations early in the day as well.

Guests utilizing the virtual queue will be giving a time to return later in the day so that they can experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. DAPS MAGIC will continue to cover this story and provide updates as they become available.
