It is a great summer for Walt Disney World annual passholders! While every single day, you can experience the magic of Disney theme parks and water parks, there are some extra special perks coming! Earlier today it was announced that Walt Disney World annual passholders would have multiple special offerings coming their way this summer. One of the most exciting? Walt Disney World annual passholders will get a preview of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge ahead of its August 29th opening date at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Here are the details that are known so far, taken from a press release:
“Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier Annual Passholders will be among the first to experience Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with complimentary special preview opportunities planned before the land’s opening on Aug. 29. Capacity is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. More information and registration details for previews will be shared at a later date.”
This is a different approach to the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at the Disneyland Resort where there was only Cast Member previews. This was then followed by a reservation system for the first few weeks of operation. On June 24th it will pivot to a new virtual queuing system.
