25th James Bond Movie Gets Title and Release Date

The 25th James Bond film has a title and a release date. This morning Sony released both via a video that appeared online. The film’s title is NO TIME TO DIE. It will be released in the United States on April 8, 2020.

The film stars Daniel Craig as James Bond. This is the fifth time in this role for him. He will be joined by Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas, Rory Kinnear, David Dencik, Dali Benssalah with Jeffrey Wright and Ralph Fiennes.

NO TIME TO DIE Description

In NO TIME TO DIE, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

NO TIME TO DIE has a story written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade (SPECTRE, SKYFALL), Cary Joji Fukunaga, Scott Z. Burns (Contagion, The Bourne Ultimatum) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Killing Eve, Fleabag). It is being directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (Beasts of No Nation, True Detective). The soundtrack is being composed by Dan Romer.
