Welcome to another edition of the DISNEY Reporter. Each week we share the top Disney and geek headlines. This week the news spans the realm of the Disney community and a little bit beyond. The week began with the end of the D23 Expo, which could be multiple DISNEY Reporter editions in itself. However, instead of diving too deeply into that we will just send you to dapsmagic.com/d23expo. On the other side of the country, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this week. With that, came questions about transporting the soda bottles that look like thermal detonators. The TSA has answered though and they have the same rules as any other container carrying fluid.

Over at Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort, there is now a new entrance to the Sunset Showcase Theater. This is the home of Mickey’s Philharmagic. It looks beautiful and DAPS MAGIC has photos and video of it up. In less happy news, both the Pixarmonic Orchestra the Laughing Stock Company will be saying goodbye to the Disneyland Resort on September 14th.

Finally, Knott’s Scary Farm is returning to Knott’s Berry Farm on September 19th. The DAPS MAGIC team was on hand for a media preview of what will be coming for this Halloween season. With that, those are the top headlines for this week’s DISNEY Reporter. Share in the comments what you think the number one story of the week was! While you are at it, please take a moment to share and like this video (and also subscribe) on YouTube! Make it a great week everyone!
