Welcome to the DISNEY Reporter! This week, the big story is the arrival of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort! With this comes hauntingly fun entertainment options, attractions, food, and merchandise! This week also brought news of a new restaurant coming to the Downtown Disney District. Asian Street Eats will be coming to the west side of Downtown Disney District in the near future.

This last week Hurricane Dorian battered the Bahamas and left the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Lines relatively untouched. In response, The Walt Disney Company has donated $1 million to relief efforts.

There were some other random happenings this week. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad celebrated its 40th Anniversary this week. DAPS MAGIC was on hand for this special milestone and covered the celebrations. Disney+ will be arriving in a few short months and when it does, it will include Disney Channel Original Movies. Finally, John Williams hosted a concert at the Hollywood Bowl last weekend. The iconic musician shared music throughout his career and also some details about the upcoming Star Wars movie!
